why sanctions: fine or even demerit points

When you return your equipment late, this bothers the next user directly.

We have to work with very a tight schedule to be able to help everyone as well as possible, so this only works when every user works with us to make this possible.

To keep the pressure high we needed to introduce sanctions:

• fines for disregard that provides us with unnecessary extra work, like returning late, returning sloppy, leaving sticky tape on cables or equipment, transporting equipment without the provided package
• demerit points if a user repeatedly fails to follow agreements. After collecting 3 demerit points the possibility to borrow will be terminated
